The Greene Arts Foundation presents a Festival
of continuous performances and artist development programs:
plays, readings, musical concerts, recitals, operas,
art exhibits and dance presentations in venues
encompassing Greene County, New York.
The Greene Arts Festival's Writers Colony
provides a creative environment for selected playwrights and composers
to discover an to develop their work with directors, musicians and actors.
The Writers Colony is a safe haven for the next generation of
playwrights and composers to create new plays and musicals for the 21st century.
The Greene Arts Festival's Choreography Lab
provides up-and-coming choreographers with dancers
and a supportive environment to facilitate the creation of new dance pieces.
This nurturing atmosphere provides the space for choreographers to be challenged and to grow
while cultivating innovative new work.
The Greene Arts Festival will bring world-class performances of
theatre, dance, music and visual arts to the communities of Greene County.
